I'm loving the 9600gt on my Linux box. :D
Come and be part of the Open Source community. Others have understood that this is the future, hopefully you will too!
I use an NVIDIA chip now, to puit it simple: My next computer won't have it unless the drivers are free.
If Nvidia continues to turn it's back on the open source community!!
WOOHOOO OPEN SOURCE!
Nvidia is an innovative company whose products are market leading. Please encourage further innovation by working with partners and patent holders such that you can provide high quality open source drivers to your customers.
Long time Linux user, recent nVidia purchaser, would like to continue using nVidia products but with ATI's recent move may go back or consider Intel.
Open Source forever!
get with the program NVIDIA
Dear Nvidia, stop it! Resistance is futile! :)
no pasaran!
Yeah!
Pretty please?
Que Nvidia Libere sus controladores de una puta vez.
YEAH!
NVIDIA hardware is great. Please, give us drivers for it(for unix and other free systems)!
Get your act together and do the only reasonable thing. Stop shooting yourself in the foot.
Please NVIDIA, help the open source community! :)
Get it done, so we'll have one less reason to us M$'s shoddy OS.
Free nvidia drivers now!
please open up...
Please do open your drivers up.
I the past I've always bought nVidia for the better driver support (compared to ATI), but now that AMD/ATI and Intel are providing open source drivers the main reason to prefer nVidia is obsolete, especially as I've been bitten by the "black window bug" which hasn't been fixed in several driver releases. Please release your drivers as open source or support the community to create full drivers to the fullest extent. Thank you.
ivio Linux ivio open source OPEN SOURCE
I'm using only Nvidia cards at this moment, but I guess that would change considering Ati his move to make their drivers open source. I hope Nvidia would follow.
Open up & get Linux graphics working.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Live long and prosper with open source comunity
Please make open source YOUR drivers please it is really good idea thnaks
Agreed do it, you wont
Germany greets and hopes for a cooperation between the OpenSource Community and nVidia...
open source drivers wanted
Greetings from Germany - please cooperate!
Nvidia, please don't resist change. Open source is the way of the future.
Please think of ALL your patrons when creating your drivers. Other graphics chipset companies do.
I've just purchased a new PC, and it's got ATI, until Nvidia sort this out I'm not going near any of their products.
My next videocard will not NVIDIA. Probably I'll think about...
having issues with new nvidia forceware right now.
OPEN SOURCE!!! YOU JERKS!!!
It's necessary.
I use nVidia, I want to free drivers :), but really Free drivers
I want a completely free operating system.
Release specifications, please.
You have nothing to fear from going open-source; in fact, you get your bugs fixed and enhancements made for free!!
Without open drivers that let me have full 3D support and still let me suspend/hibernate and use xrandr, I'm going with Intel video next time.
Open up!
just do it
i do indeed agree with the statement above. using linux since a few years back and will continue to do so, striving to use completely open source software and drivers.
Please oh please NVidia people, don't let AMD ATI take away your thunder. Please open up a little bit. That will motivate me to buy and recommend NVidia products.
I agree.
nVidia has always been my favourite in the market, and I'd be delighted if they do help out in open-sourcing their drivers. They'd gain my respect, and I'd be really grateful
tis one of the major reasons i dont use linux... nvida needs to start supporting linux as much as windows because its way too much of a bottle neck in the growth of linx.
Open the specs please
Please open source your drivers and interface specs.
nVidia, support OpenSource!
The publishing of source code, will earn only good reputation for Nvidia by open source communities... Come on...
we hope
Vida al software libre
Open!
I have been waiting for open drivers for last 2 or 3 generetions of nvdia video cards i have bought. I'll wait and seen and my next buy will be the card with support for freebsd/amd64, because this os is slowly becoming as my primary os.
Free documentation and drivers increase the value of the hardware, which is what Nvidia is selling after all.
