Closed drivers require more work (downloading,updating,etc). I work with free software and buy hardware that works out of the box with free drivers.

I love the power of nvidia hardware and I appreciate the proprietary drivers provided by nvidia for Linux users, and their relative ease of installation, but Linux users pay the same dollar for your products and they deserve a better out of the box experience than what is provided with the current flimsy 2d driver. You've got to give to receive, please remember that.
Your proprietary driver works but with open-source's contribution, it can work just that much better. Please take it into consideration. Thanks in advance for your time.

Hello, I hope that NVIDIA listens. Personally, I've been always a fan of NVIDIA graphics but this seems to be changing for AMD as it proved better FOSS Linux support.
