More power to Nvidia means more power to us. We shall lend thy power to thee. Lets bring it to intel and amd together.
This will only benefit you as a company, how can you go wrong?!
I've always prefered NVidia's products, but if the drivers came to be open, it would be top!
I support this effort.

Cause it's the way of future.
If you don't do it, next step is to develop free hardware so we can use all the power the hardware can offer us.
Thanks
I´m a gamer and also a Gnu/Linux user, and unless Nvidia provides the tools for the creation of free open source drivers my next GPU will be an AMD without doubt!

Open source leads to more reliable software. So open source benefits not just the users, but your company as well.
Open drivers FTW!

Please support your hardware fully and completely with open source drivers. Don't fear the future...
Bring On The Source!
Now is the time to start
I am already a Linux user: this post is written from an Ubuntu box. The problem with the NVIDIA drivers is that they are not fully supported in Ubuntu because they are closed source. This situation leads to instability issues and the only solution to this problem is to use the open-source equivalent drivers. But with the open source drivers there is a catch: they do not provide much acceleration and that can be seen in many circumstances. I only bought Nvidia hardware because they have better support for Linux (better than ATI). This situation may change in the future, because ATI announced that they will open source their drivers.
Go for it!
Go GNU/Linux!
Come on nVidia - let us use our £350 cards how we want to! Your drivers dont seem to let us
I support this effort. Do the good thing nvidia
El que beneficia a la comunidad se está beneficiando a sí mismo.
I'll only buy hardware with full open source support from now on
get it open please.
yes! Please?
Hope your company could work with the open software community, so we can buy and recomend your graphic cards.
With my current computer i keep lowering the amount of closed software. With my next computer i will make sure none of the hardware needs closed drivers. I hope nVidia is then part of the spectrum of choice
FREEEE!!
We want it now please!
if u don't do it i'll buy an AMD/ATI. =P
I approve this message
You're giving the drivers away for free anyway, why not free the code. Any lose due to competitor code peeking will be offset by better code.
I love Nvidia!
The drivers are too important for playing 3d games. Please do it better!!
I am 100% completely and totally in suport of this initiative, given that several large corporationshave recently opened up their documentation. Why NVIDIA has decided not to release their documentation at this time, or really give any form of assurance on this process is bewildering, given the current climate of the sharing of information.
Free software is the way to go.
Your hardware rocks, let the community help keep the drivers and support the best out there!
Please.
NVIDIA + 3D + Linux = :)
I'll buy the videocard with the better linux/opensource support. Today is NVIDIA, tomorrow...
I chose an ATI card as my last video graphics card because an open source driver was being developed for it. I want my linux distribution to be given as many resources as possible to support the hardware I use.
yay! thanks for freebsd by the way
Driver openness decides my next buy.
I am a developer at Kitware Inc. We are a software company that develops open-source visualization application. We rely on nVidia drivers on Linux and other platforms heavily.
Do it NVIDIA! You will receive only benefits from doing it!

I like linux on Nvidia driver :)
Nvidia has always provided assistance and constant support with drivers and any issues I have had, but are open drivers too much to ask for? :D
DO IT! Be a Man!
